Dantes Inferno In Stock@ZapsOnline

I played for about an hour last night
Graphics are awesome and if you are a fan of GOW,Darksiders,Bayonetta etc then I think you will like.
But its not for me

I loved GOW, Darksiders I haven't tried but looks a bit to much button smashing for me.

What I didn't like about DI demo was that you can't control the camera.

Ha,ha Grim thats what I said - Their all button mashing games.

I also laughed that you need to collect souls to level up - Ive seen that somewhere bsfore.

I didnt notice at the time but now that mention it I dont think that you can.

Now dont get me wrong I can see that this game is going to be awesome - just not my cup of tea.
 
Ugh...I hate these new games which look absolutely fantastic and I can't play them due to my moral resolutions. Still, technically speaking this game does pave the way for awesome graphics. Now if they'd just move away from "Hell" a bit I'd appreciate that a lot thanks lol.

suppose you couldn't play doom, diablo or jericho either. i'm just going to enjoy my death edition, thank you very much :)

btw you know that the game is based on Dante Alighieri's fourteenth-century epic poem Divine Comedy. seriously what is so wrong with games that feature devils, demons, angels, satan, hell, heaven or related themes for that matter? please don't tell me you are one of those who believe that there are really demons in the game.
 
I am enjoying my Death Edition right now, it is freaking awesome! Definitely not for children.

I don't really want a flame war or anything, that's why I keep my comments lite when it comes to this. I, along with many other gamers I promise you, don't really wanna spend time with games focused on Hell and Satan and demons due to our religious standings. I am really just stating my own opinion and everyone is free to make their own decisions on what they spend their time on. I'm not judging.

But yeah, purely as a gamer and a person hooked on graphics and technology, it bites my butt when a game looks THIS good technically and I don't want to play it purely because of it's story line / subject matter.

And you're right, I never played Diablo or Doom because of the same reason why I'm not going to play Diablo 3 or Dante's Inferno. Although I understand they're all fantastic games if you're not offended by their subject matter.

p.s Please don't turn this into a flame war...these are very constructive comments. I'm not throwing religion into the forum (oh Heaven forbid...:rolleyes:) but what I am saying is that when games focus on everything Satanic these days (Bayonetta, Darksiders etc) it DOES offend some people and I just happen to be one of them - so I end up not playing these awesome looking games. Too bad so sad for me, but it's my choice :)

well for you guys there are always things like the sims to enjoy.....j/k :D

you do remind me of one of my school buddies who used to go around and everything is just too "sato" for him to play, but then again i used to share this sentiment till i've come around a bit and started to enjoy games for what they are without prejudice.

but as you say its taste and choice that decides in the end of the day what you like and would be practical in your case to spend or not to spend your money on.

I can't see ant games "Satanic". I want to play a game as a minion of Satan as of yet there is no games like that, only slaying them.
 
Like I said chaps, I'm not judging anyone here so if you feel you're being "judged" then you have some issues that only you can resolve, maybe with some professional help as well :p

My game choice is a personal thing. Some games I play, like GTA 4, which already I know I shouldn't be playing, but it's awesome fun. Other games are a bit too "dark" for my liking and it's, thankfully, my choice not to play them.

I'm just peeved that they have awesome graphics and I can't enjoy them!
