I bought myself a new cellphone yesterday.
As usual, one of the first things I did was to turn off predictive text.
It is a Nokia 1208 and as such is ensconced at or near the bottom of Nokia's
range of cellphones. Even so, it has more than I need, which is a device which
can be used to make and receive calls and do the same for sms. Most of my cellphone use comprises sending and receiving short messages.

Are there any cellphones out there that cover just the essentials?

Its called nokia classics check it out its a simple phone with sms and phone calls and maybe mms and some other stuff.

Normaly they don't have camaras.

theres was a cheap nokia that Vodacom gave away with the R29pm contract, it was small, slim, SMS voice and had a flash light, sounds like just what you need
