First PS3!

Hey guys,

Just payed someone for a PS3 and will have it in my possession tomorrow!!!

So I just wanted to know how the PS3 online functions as opposed to Xbox live.

Same stuff but you don't need a paid-for account to play online with people....YET. Oh, you can also add and REMOVE a credit card with your PS3 online profile. You cannot remove a credit card from your XBOX 360 profile...which kinda sucks.
 
If I were to get a PS3 now, the first couple of games I would get are:
God of War trilogy
Uncharted (will get the second one later)
Demon's Souls

There are so many exclusives for the PS3 that all look so awesome.

My recommendations for exclusives :

Uncharted 1 & 2
Heavenly Sword
God of War Collection
Metal Gear Solid 4
inFAMOUS
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2
Killzone 2

Heavy Rain is dropping at the end of the month as well. The demo was pretty good.

Will buy a couple games a month :)

Might swap the PS3 for an Xbox though... I always preffered it over PS3 but now I will have a hands view.

Unless it's the exclusives on the 360 is what you are after there is no reason to get a 360 at this point in time.

Not really, I would preffer the PS3 exclusives.

God of war 3
FF 14
Heavy Rain
Etc Etc

But I would only swap over if I dont enjoy the feel of the ps3
 
I definitely prefer my Xbox, in fact I love it. But I am still very keen to buy a PS3, some really cool exclusives and after all they are both great consoles.

They are but in the last month ive hardly touched my ps3. Sad as that is. Maybe with Heavy Rain ill redeem it.
