Just like every other EA game.

The engine was developed entirely inhouse by Crytek. Once again, you've demonstrated nothing more than your consummate failure to know what you're talking about. I'd really have thought that, by now, you'd bother to look stuff up before committing such complete rubbish to actual writing. I mean, really, you make yourself look like an idiot. You should work on that. I'm convinced you're not actually as stupid as you look.

I do know that. and only EA would allow such a poorly developed game to be published. What nobody ever hears that the dev team could have done so much better, but EA cut there time short.

And I've seen with each and every one of there games. The last game that wasn't infected like that was RA2,but only because Westwood still had the balls to demand what they needed.

Ok sure, maybe EA has turned around over the last year or so, I haven't played any of there more recent games yet, so I don't know.

Proof?

And yet, you admit you haven't played any EA games in ages:

So what authority could you possibly have on the topic? You constantly say shit you can't back up at all. I think you just make this stuff up as you go along.

FACT! Crysis's CryEngine 2 is the second version of CryEngine, a technology developed for nVidia long before EA was ever even involved with the company. That CryEngine 2 is full of problems has much more to do with developer incompetence than publisher bullying. I think you have a very serious problem discerning between developers and publishers. Get a clue.

For once I agree with Azi. If anything, I seem to recall reading that the crysis release date was pushed back because of serious bugs.

Anyway, this one wasn't EA's fault. Because of the kind of stuff the developers wanted the game engine to do, it really needed high-quality multi-core-optimised coding. At the time that the code was being developed (2005/2006), there was very little experience with multi-core (dual-core cpus and higher) coding, which resulted in what I reckon is very inefficient code, hence the poor performance.
