Mostly true, but there are exceptions. The Shawshank Redemption, for example, was almost 1:1, with the only difference (and a completely negligible one at that) being that in the novel, the posters used to [spoiler stuff] changed during the course of the book.

I thought Peter Jackson did a pretty good job with the Lord of the Rings too, and I'm quite a big LotR nerd.
I agree with you there but wheel of time has allot more things that are going on than lord of the rings. I hope they do a good job as I am a huge wheel of time nerd lol.
Dude most people were happier back then, you were a kid, you had no worries ... now, shits real - I feel the same way sometimes.

I think the reason is that I don't get out to often(only time I get out is for band practise.) And I have had no luck with woman:( I dayed one girl for a week and thats it. And I can't seem to get a job(Well one of my band mates is trying to help with that.) I just feel very lonely at times lol.

You're in a band, start playing some gigs and you'll meet loads of people (including the ladies), gigs normally lead to party afterwards, you meet fellow musos, all the people who follow said band around, it's a win win situation.

Yeah, back when I was in a band, my social life was crazy. Actually, being kinda shy myself, I found it all kinda exhausting. :P

Same here, I was a drummer in my last band, always the quiet one...felt totally out most of the time, after a gig I just wanted to go chill but to everyone else, the night was just starting. Exhausting is exactly what it was.

The worst thing about my band is I have to play the black sabbath solos(They not terrible hard but still)

Guitar and I are not friends. Used to be able to play some machine head riffs and some maiden stuff, but yeah, that shit ain't easy.

I love playing slayer shit(I can play most of there stuff)Metallica, Iron maiden,Black sabbath and other stuff.
