As you have all noticed, the MyGaming forums received an update over the weekend. Change is never easy, but I'm sure most will find that the news design is more functional, and also adds a few nifty features, such as blogging, and a classifieds section coming shortly.

It also sorts out a number of bugs that were present in the previous forums.

We were previously discussing the upgrade in another thread, but I have moved it all to here.

Eish these emoticons are small. It's certainly different! I'll need to get used to the various icons etc.

Are we suppose to be able to change tags?

2. When u log in and it "redirects" you it still thinks you logged out going 1 forum deeper solves this tho

another dunno if its meant to be like this but...

When u click on news or reviews it logs u out when u come back to forum

Yeah if you could take the colour scheme of the top navi bar and impliment that into the entire forum then it would make the forum look so much better.

Its vb version 4 not 6...:D
 
Just a note - the site's favicon seems to have disappeared.

Dunno if it's just on my side or what...
 
Critique: The colours are a little off. Just brighten the blue banners a little to match the old page and all will be fixed. The fonts also seem a little off and various icons look too exaggerated.

Improvement: I never liked the old rounded stuff of the old one. So good change there.

As I said in the other thread, I don't mind the change. What I do mind is that I'll be loosing one function that I use constantly...... the ability to mark all the thread in an entire section as read.

The entire page can be bright neon pink with carebears and ponies all over the place as long as I can mark a section as read, I'm happy.

I can't now........ thus...... me not happy.

PS: What's with this gap on top everytime you quote someone?

You can, just double click the blue speech bubble icon next to the section name, it will change from bright blue to a grayish. Then all posts in that section are marked as read.
