well i've literally inquired with everyone who has it listed on their online sites (rest haven't responded)

whootware - they've about given up
computers only - late march
cyberrange - early, mid and late march
digitalsaonline - late march
sonicinformed - unkown eta
ikonicit - unkown eta

It is pretty lame that they can't satisfy stock levels. I mean how you supposed to take them seriously if you have to wait like 3 months just to get one :confused:

like taking the following companies seriously when they had stock constraints ?....intel, amd, ati, nvidia, 3dfx and so on.

Cant remember the last time myself or anyone I know had to wait 3 + months to get an item from any of those companies.

It is unfortunate, but there's only 1 supplier for these Roccat Kave headsets in SA. And that would be Sonic Informed. Our last ETA was for beginning of April. I've spoken to the Roccat distributor in India and in Taiwan (yes, we have been trying like crazy to get any info that we can) and they suggest that they're only shipping their next batch at the end of March.

The Roccats have been out of stock since December. I absolutely love the product, but, it's utterly disappointing to have to give bad news to the gamers that want these headsets when they enquire. The two other good options would be the Razer Carcharias (cheaper, no 5.1, but excellent comfort and sound) or the Logitech G35 (more expensive, USB).

We will still keep following up though to find out.

Wootware, I'm Rory. We've tried very hard to get these headsets ourselves but Roccat is protective over their distributors, even at the cost of increased sales for them.

bloody stupid imho, it's not like we don't want to buy... in fact demand is like crazy high :)
 
We've received word that Sonic will be receiving the Roccat Kaves in next week. They've decided to airfreight them in.

My ear is to the ground ;) , as soon as they've got stock, I'll post back here. Once they're in, the floodgates open and you'll be able to purchase the headset from any online store that lists them.
