Depends if you have cards that go onto pci slots then its a bad thing if you don't have any pci cards then not a bad thing

Yeah the card is 1slot then the fan and heatsink take up another slot.
 
Ok, there is nothing else in the PCI slot as far as I know, so if it is just the card mentioned, it should be fine?
