EDIT
One problem I'm really having is I can't hear the dialogue half the time
Don't read the subtitles they do not follow the voice.
But I had no problems with hearing them 5.1 speakers ftw "D

i checked for the latest driver for my GPU and i have the latest version. Also i have Directx 10 on my pc. and the beta has been completely removed from my pc.
@ Murph i changed all the graphics settings on my pc and the game to the lowest and it still does the same thing at the exact same place of the game....
Wenz in mydoc in the bfbc2 file there is a Settings file plz go change the directx to DX9 plz. it will be on auto atm and will pick dx10 this could cause it as well.
Murph it may have something to do with your windows sound settings. Like live, rock, pop and those stuff.
Yeah I thought it may have been an enviromental setting or something, but nothing. Dialogue sounds better on head phones, but I want War Tapes yaaaaaaaaaaar
Yes I did...
Anyways, after some more tinkering around with the gamesettings.ini and settings.ini files, the problem had almost been solved. Sometimes the audio still cuts out, but now only for a few seconds, and that even rarely happens. I changed the settings to this:
soundsystemsize=2
quality=medium
speakercount=2
Hope this helps some people.
I had that prob but I updated the game and it went away.
i cant find a settings file in the BFBC2 folder. the only folder in there is "Dis", "Output", "package", "pb" and "Support" and there is no settings file in any of those folders. i do however notice that i have 4 BFBC@ updater icons in the main Battlefield folder. do you think that might be the cause of my problem? and can i just delete some of the icons?Wenz in mydoc in the bfbc2 file there is a Settings file plz go change the directx to DX9 plz. it will be on auto atm and will pick dx10 this could cause it as well.

WTF is up with this game? Why the fuck does it take so long to refresh like 5 servers????
Not to mention I can't add half of the servers to my favs.
This game is killing me.
