Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer

Remember you are on the console version, things will just work better. :D

I am getting the Xbox version today, I am pretty much over the PC version.

Grimspoon, stop being so.... inflammatory =) Hitbox detection and lag compensation are not platform specific, its consistent across both platforms.

Ja i still dont think its oky no matter how you want to put it. Kinda difficult to influence the game if the rest of the team is doing their own thing so when i get spawn raped its not my fault and mate dont be a twat please. I just raised a point that i experienced a lot yesterday.

Well I beg to differ there with regard to the lag, I find games on my xbox run 100% more economically than my PC counterpart.

MW2 for example, I wouldn't dream of playing on a Int server on the PC version, however on my Xbox I can comfortably play on int servers.

Not trying to be a twat at all, sorry if it came across that way. Yet again I'm just expressing my view from years of playing Battlefield online.

Np im and always have been Cod player so BF is a bit different for me. Lot more tactical and less doing insane running and jumping tricks. But Cod is cod BF is BF.

I have also been a BF player for years, but Im pretty new to the online thing. Only recently started playing COD. But I need to upgrade my PC before I can truly experience BC2. So far, I am not that convinced its fabulous. It seems too similar to CoD. Things like the destructible environment and the other bits and pieces are really cool. But online does not really seem to be what BF2 was about. I guess I am still getting used to it. Unfortunately I have not had the time to play

Played my best game just now, 6v6 conquest. :> I played as recon, stealth-knifing everybody.

I started off just knifing and got a score of 12-1. Then it got boring and tried out my handgun and sniper. After 2 rounds I have 29 shiny new dog tags.

Servers were over full again last night, luckily I got in on a 4vs4 Squad rush for 3 hours. No EA disconnects but my game crashed twice was able to get in again after those crashes.

That round up their is just awesome going!

I played a few good hours last night. Some squad death match and conquest. Great fun.

Have you been measuring your hourly bandwidth? What ping are you getting on average?

Funny anough i didn't have any lag issues so far (touch wood) as i'm on a 256kb wireless which my ping is normally like 30-300 with BF2142 (more like 100-250 on avg) but not with BFBC2. Haven't tried international servers yet to see if it doesn't matter like others mentioned good latencys for those servers... Really supprised on how well this game runs on even poor internet connections \o/ and how low the MB usage is too...

WHos SAINET ?????????

Go to the link Crzwaco supplied and check them out. What I like about them is that local bandwidth only uses up one third of your bandwidth and your unused data rolls over to the next month. Quite nifty if you ask me. I think I'm going to go for the 5GB monthly account. :)
