Yeah much better I can actually get head shots now. Also close range is not as bad as it use to be.
Your auto updater must be borked. I believe most are currently trying to DL the umungus 320meg file at the minute. I'm sitting at 290megs and counting o.0
EDIT** Just got the corrupt file error at 90-95% FFS! Back to DL'ing with 256kb line o.0

Are you using the shortcut created by the game, or a modified one with the +procfull thingy on the end? Mine also didn't want to update using the modified one, so I just went to my games folder, double clicked that shortcut and the update started. Luckily I didn't have any errors downloading. But upon entering game, it showed me as lvl 3, but only lvl 1 guns were available, and all my dogtags missing
Also got kicked a few times for no apparrent reason, but this got better later last night. Also, for the guys who has edited their gamesettings and settings files, seems the update reset some of the stuff.

Yeah I found out yesterday that there are 3 exe files. I made a shorcut on my desktop without the auto updater. So ran it last night have not played yet to see the effects. But my single player is messed up. Thanks will check the settings file.
Great now I get kicked from games thanks you so very much fking punkbuster. Just had a moerse score again and now I get nothing

Yep, i have the latest drivers and all. I even downloaded that configuration utility and put everything on the lowest setting it can go and STILL not smooth? Wtf??! I am so irritated right now. Tried every tweak i could find on the internet and it doesn't help. I'm giving up for now, maybe a future driver update or patch will fix it. There's a bug on the scoreboard that stops the ping from showing/displaying correctly. The ping from your server browser is correct and if you have a Logitech G keyboard the LCD display will also show the correct ping.

It might well be, it seems to be a big patch for such a small amount of fixes.
Still they have not fixed some of the more annoying bugs like not displaying ping correctly and most importantly only showing 6 servers in your favorites.

Yes, its beyond me why they have not yet fixed that. They were aware of the problem from day one according to the scrolling message in the main menu.

After the patch this morning, running the game as Administrator fixed the ping issue for me 
Ah man, i don't get it
Djinn, what dual core do you have and at what clock speed. Unless its a really good one, I'm quite sure this is what is bottlenecking you. Its made more apparent by the fact that switching everything to as low as it can go doesn't improve your FPS at all, meaning your 4870 isn't the problem.

there's still a long way to go for them to sort out stuff, the new mappack and patch at the end of the month will fix some more nagging issues, will keep an eye out for the bug fix update fram baja @ ea and post it as soon as i see it.
