COD WAW sucks IMO.

WE played it about two times at a lan. I even started mapping for it before I even played the MP, but cancelled all that and moved back to COD4.

It's very Black & White between COD4 and COD WAW. You either like the one or the other. I like COD WAW more but then I could never play a game for too long before I get bored.
 
Well I loved COD1 and 2, I don't mind WWI or WWII shooters at all.

Infact we play COD 1 UO more often than we do UT3. But the "infinity ward magic" is just missing. Valiant effort from Treyarch, much better than COD3, but not quite there yet.

MP wise it just does not having the pacing, or the lasting appeal that the IW developed titles have!
 
Hey Maplassie.
Do you play ut3 online? or anyone else for that matter? It seems the sgs ut3 servers are picking up slightly, now that the price of the game has come down. I like the game and would like to compete in it online, but there's not that many ut3 players out there at the moment imo.
Word has traveled through the grape vines that iGame might be hosting a ut3 soon. I'm not really sure how true it is though (Xero, care to comment?). Hopefully their new server will spawn new interest in the masses. The iGame community has grown noticeably since I've joined. I consider myself an iGame regular and will most definitely support their ut3 server(s) if they ever decide to host.

I finished Mass Effect about an hour ago. The ending was amazing and I look forward to the next game.

So I came here to write that and that I will be playing Crysis now.... except I saw that I won an Xbox360! :D So yeah my plans may have changed a bit. Will see. Going to play Crysis for now though.
 
Cool I finished Crysis now. It was good, though at times frustratingly difficult, but this is just because I am not the best fps player. I wish more games used the same engine. :)

Now it's time for Fallout 3! :D
 
Just finished Imperial Glory, Call of Duty and United Offensive..so I guess it's back to Guild Wars and BF2 eh

What didn't you like about DOW2, Waldo?

Have fun with RA3. If the full version is anything like the demo, it shouldn't be too bad. ;-)
 
Just a bit of Farcry 2 at the moment. Next up is Fallout 3, I own it already just need a bit more time to get through all of this!
 
Just finished with Metal Gear Solid 4, will try out Metal Gear Online soon. The next game I will be playing is Burnout Paradise.

Absolutely Brilliant! I give it 10/10, it really helps to play the previous Metal Gear Solids so that you can understand the story without getting confused. I only wish I could find MGS2: Sons of Liberty, i have looked all over the net to find a PAL version but everywhere is out of stock:(, it's the only one I haven't played yet.

Let me quote my experiences :D;):
I HATE this game. Reason being the frustration caused throughout the install. I bought the game, as a happy chap, got home, inserted the disc, only to be greeted by a Steam install. So I hesitate, but install it anyway. Then comes the game install which took over an hour. Then it needed to download an 80MB patch which took 3 hours! (512kb ADSL) - Steam speeds were stuck at 9.5kb/s. So once that was done, I was so excited to play, only to receive a notice to download the game (almost 7GB). Now it's going right back where it came from. The point is, the game that you PAY for isn't even included on the disc! If this is where gaming is going then I'm not interested.

I went and swapped it out today at CNA for Tomb Raider Underworld. Tomorrow I'll be ordering RA3 Premier Edition.
