Guild Wars 2 Discussion

How about a sub level for those who do enjoy grinds. So they could have a level cap of 20 or 30 or whatever and then a sub level that level separately and goes higher to say 100, but has no bearing on your skills or stats and only serves as a title of sorts.

That's what the level cap increase is meant to do. Once you reach a level, say 20, you continue to gain experience and level past it, but your attributes don't increase at all.

Oh, there will be grinds, I can bet that much. They won't ever remove it completely. It must be optional though (and not required) to grind.
I can imagine the PvP titles would be a grind, just depends on how much fun it is, so you don't care about the grind :D

I don't mind there being grinds at all, as long as we aren't forced to grind like we currently aren't.

What i like about GW is the complexity of skills. In WoW skills are almost - boring....

It's like Yu-Gi-oh cards compared to Magic: the Gathering cards. For those whom don't know, GW is based on the M:tG idea. A Deck would usually have 60 cards. In GW, a full team will have 64 skills. Id say GW is for a more mature crowd. You actually need a brain to do good in GW. In WoW, all you have to do is pick DeathKnight and bash your head randomly into the keyboard.

I hope PvP stays pretty much the same.

Only thing that is irritating me about GW is that sometimes there are quests I can't do on my own and need help, and spend an hour trying to find someone to help me, get annoyed and end up quiting. That aspect is a bit of a downer.

Don't you have a guild?
My guild members was always willing to help out.

A guild is definitely the way to go. What henchmen/heroes are you taking along with you?

Get a guild or call the friend squad buddy :)
Heroes are your friends ;)

I do have a guild, a lot of the times there is no one online, but I guess I do play in the day sometimes so go figure.

As for henchman, I have tried many different combos, and on some hard quests nothing works. For example I just did the quest desperate measures in NF where you have to kill the skree leader and hecket leaders, man that was just impossible, if I remember correctly lildeath helped me finish it :D Even then was pretty hard. Still loving the game and seem to be making some progress.

The auction idea is a must, I agree that the current trade is crap, search through lots of stuff, when you actually get something you want to buy, you have to backtrack and find who is the guy that just said : WTS .....
(Thats why I currently mostly sell all my stuff on an online auction, or stuff that I know dont sell on the online auction, is merch food :p)

Playable races : I would like to see the Mursaat :D
(story wise maybe a problem though :p)
