Modern Warfare 2 Lan Patch now up and running.

Tbh Boozer I wouldn't use any form of patch that hasn't been given the go ahead with IW and Activision because seriously I wouldn't wanna get banned from steam for using a Lan patch that those dumbasses think is messing with their "perfect little system"... :rolleyes:
 
This patch is pointless.

You can play Spec Op's Lan anyway, and it still requires steam .Thats just asking for the banhammer :D
 
Teknogods are good. They know what they are doing. They were involved with the Starcraft 2 beta well...Will try later...
 
Is there any kind of official wording yet from IWnet or Activision re LAN play where and internet connection is not necessary?

no, won't happen, you must run it separate from steam (another version of the game just for LAN) so its imposable to get banned, unless maybe you send your steam ID and CD Key to Activations and tell them what you doing... :p
 
How to play Modern Warfare 2 on lan:

Step 1 - Load up Call of Duty 4.
Step 2 - Play.
Step 3 - Be happy.

ALTERNATIVELY

Step 1 - Load up BC2.
Step 2 - Play.
Step 3 - Be happy.
Step 4 - Forget about CoD.
