Something is using a crap load of bandwidth on my pc, I use bandwidth monitor and even when nothing is running its still uploading and downloading at a rate of 30mb every 10min :(:(

Ive checked and I can't see anything in task manager that look out of place.

any help advice would be greatly appreciated guys.
 
someone else using your connection or just you? does it have a active wireless connection? if so make sure access control is active...

Ive checked that mate, Its def a program or mal ware doing this, I just can't fcking find it:( Its driving me insane.
 
Get yourself a program called Net Limiter. Its free, we use it at work. It will tell you exactly what apps are eating your bandwidth.

Getting it now.

I spoke to a mate of mine and he says he had the same problem after accepting a friend's request on Bing. Now I did the same yesterday:( How retarded am I:(

I just hope I can get whatever is doing this removed without a clean install:(
 
You ought to be able remove or disable most applications that are bandwidth intensive
