CoD4 isn't blasphemy. It's not a ported halo wanna be. The perks and guns are overrated in MW2. CoD4 has lean. You can get a lvl55 hack with no problem.

Level hacks are also for people who have done it all, twice, and don't feel like doing it a third.
CoD4 is the best tactical FPS you'll find that isn't a port for long while to come. And all the hype of MW2/BFBC2 is exactly that, hype. The game is gonna get stale for just about everyone pretty quickly while CoD4 still keeps going stong.

Im enjoying it, I wouldn't sell my left nut to play it but it is enjoyable & with the gaming schedule from now to September looking bleak its a good time to get into an MMO.
