PS3 - Now comes with HDMI cable

Precisely, the R40 cable plugged into my PS3 is doing fine with perfect picture quality, if you want to pay more for a cable go for it.

for broader home implementation, give the cable that most people still have. Same thing DSTV is doing not committing to widescreen as most of their customers stil have tube screens. Not every body can go out and buy a new tv and a new console.
 
I found my cable for R50... If I had bought the cable where I had bought my PS3 it would have been far more expensive. I think they try rack off a lot of money from customers by suggesting them to buy the cable where they buy the console because, maybe according to them, what's an extra R200 after spending R4000 already? I just went to a back-end TV shop for it.
