So who do you guys think will be the finalists and eventual winners of the tournament?

My finalists are Spain and Brazil/England....put some money on Spain, so they are my pick for champs.

You're thoughts?
 
I would hope Cameroon takes it.

2nd: Germany

However realistically I think the final 4 will be: Germany, Brazil, Spain, Portugal - with Holland possibly being the upset to unseat any of those 4.

England has no chance. Italy failed against Mexico and have been stagnant.
 
Germany and England both lost their captains, so I'm a bit doubtful there syco. Then again "ze germans" always seem to rise to the occasion come world cup time.

My Sig should point out that I'm all the way for Germany, but my main pride with them was Oliver Kahn. Their '06 goalie wasn't all that great, and as you say - with Ballack out of it they're going to suffer a bit.
 
I think the chances are very probable for a South American team in the final. Those guys breathe football and it's all they live for. Way fanatical! ;)
 
DivA, that would be cool. Although I still don't have a helluva lot of support for Brazil. They're kind of like the evil Icelanders who went up against the Mighty Ducks/Team USA.

Semis - Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Serbia or Mexico

This was to make it interesting. (england a bit overrated atm)
