Dune 2 wow that takes me back
 
Yeah. Finished the Harkonnen and Atreides campaigns, but could never finish the Ordos one. On the 4th or 5th mission it ended up as a stalemate with the pc.

One of the things I liked about the Atreides is the sonic cannon. Enemies trying to get into the base would ignore attacks coming from them, and just kept moving. I had a couple of them on rock outcroppings surrounding my base which would take shots at any incoming enemies. By the time they got to my base they would already have heavy damage.

Yip. Can't remember exactly which level or campaign it was, but just remember playing till some ungodly hour and eventually reaching a stalemate as all the spice had been harvested and neither had anymore units with which to attack. Pretty upset at that point.
 
That my friend is Kyrandia :-D oh and a trick to Dune 2 the AI will only attack the side of your base that is facing it's base. Also some other funny things like defenses don't get built after initial base building and the computer does cheat
