PlayStation Plus goes live today - are you signing up?

Well considering they are throwing in Little Big Planet for mahala, it's not bad. Making me consider it. But of course, if LBP isn't your thing, then maybe not so much.
 
Does this explain why i couldnt hook up to PSN recently because of the migration and updates lately?? :rolleyes:
 
Just thinking about it, it is actually a seriously good deal, for the first year at least, LBP + Wipeout HD free. Then you still get 4 games free a month etc etc.

That is well worth the R489 or whatever it was.
 
Not interested if the games are going to become locked when I stop subscribing. The best thing people could do would be to refuse to sign up for this.
 
Only certian games get locked up. LBP is free for life, and there are other things that are permantly yours even if you unsubscribe. As far as things go i checked it out earlier today the discounts are pretty awesome on the things that are discounted. I am sure more things will come as more people sign up.
 
Er...... no. Because even if I got the free games, I'd still have to download them and seeing as though I have to pay R60 per GB, I don't think it's that 'free' for me. Maybe if I had uncapped, yes.

You just need an international start up them pause and use your local to pull the content its cheaper if you dont have uncapped. IS local cost a bout +/-R4 a GB if you wana go that route.
