she must have a steam account and you must have one ;)

then you add her as a friend, she then; adds to cart, as a gift through steam, selects your name and that's it.

It should work. Don't see any reason for it to have issues.

Personally so far with the sale I got myself the monkey island collection, tropico 3+ expansion, hospital tycoon and tycoon city:new york.

Edit:Also kings bounty gold and gothic 2 gold.
