I haven't been there for quite a while now - last time was for work at the hospitals' backup generators. But still have fond memories of midnight stops at the spar after a night out at tucks or the rat. Kinda cool how everything's in walking distance.

@ Voicy: Just stayed for two weeks of G-Town festival and I'm going to spend the last two weeks at home in Joburg. I still have about two and half years left in this little town! I do love it though, especially the fact that you don't even need a car to live here. Lol, everyone has done the "BP Run" after a rough night at the Rat or Friar Tucks... but I must admit... I feel my dignity waning by the millisecond in the latter place...

Yeah after a night at tucks you feel the need to scrub yourself down with pool acid and a steel wool. Once I was lurking there with a mate on the top balcony and some arb girl hitched her arm around mine and started stroking my lower arm. I just froze then a moment later pulled my arm away.

Sure some okes will say that's something to be stoked about - but you know how dirty G'town girls can be.

Drive safely and take it slow. So many accidents here lately - even witnessed a head-on collision on Wednesday in the T'kei :/

@Voicy: Thanks. Been doing the drive for a few years now and I'm pretty used to it.. as long as everyone else on the road drive like decent human beings. Going to be driving my dad's Golf GTI so going 'slowly' might be a little bit too much for the car to understand Leaving early though to dodge the World Cup traffic as well from PE. Hoping for it to go smoothly...

And I'm not even going to start about the pick-up lines from Friars.... I just don't go there anymore.... I've dodged the dirtiness (I hope) >_<
