And some of the most intelligent people I've met have been gamers. Some of them abbreviate but that's not even a problem. In fact, I've seen more Jock kids who AREN'T gamers with MUCH worse spelling, grammar, punctuation and general English than a gamer. Using the internet and all that actually seems to increase skills in that department.
Most of what I've learned regarding English has been from Wikipedia, something I wouldn't have gotten into were it not for being a gamer.

What happened in her story is obviously a tragedy. However, wrong thing to blame. Suicide is a personal choice, not something you should do from playing D&D. In fact, if you're stupid enough to kill yourself over Dungeons and Dragons then...well...you win the Darwin award, and thank you for removing yourself from the gene pool.
