Once again, having a dual-core CPU (even at the current 4.11GHz) seems to be biting me in the butt. I need to get that 6 core monster CPU soon....very soon....

Today the publisher of the upcoming open world crime action game revealed the minimal and recomended system requirements for the Mafia 2 PC port on the game's official community web site.

I cant see Mafia on the South African (version we see) steam site. maybe the USA site but I still have not taken any risks buying via the USA portal.

Physx requirements are fairly heavy, but the others are pretty reasonable really.

It looks like i am either going to have to play this on medium or go out and steal myself a new pc... The specs are not that bad but damn a dedicated 9800 gt... ouch

Steam has a pre purchase deal right now. Pre purchase Mafia II and get Mafia to play straight away.

The orignal mafia was awesome yes it had its problems but for its time it had good game play and mechanics
