Would you still buy MW2?

So apparently the devs at IW never got paid for MW2, no I don't know about you, but I don't give a fuck for the publisher, they can go burn in a fire, I buy games to support the devs.
So now that IW is almost no more, would you buy MW2? (or even cod4?) if you haven't already? because its not like IW is going to get the money, its probably going to go to Kotick's new Golf kit (remember he is not a gamer)

didn't buy it yet (got it as a gift) and will sure as hell not fork out for it now.

Honestly, I couldn't care. Yeah, I feel for them, but why would I deny myself the pleasure of buying something, just because the dev can't get his cut?

That being said, I would still pay for the single player of MW2, but would not buy the MP if I had the choice. Which is why I will not spend money on the DLC. I own the game already, so this is all moot really, but ja, I wish I could sell the MP portion back to them.

Uh. You've got this a bit wrong. There's litigation over unpaid bonuses, not unpaid salaries.
 
I don't really care for any cod games. I never bought the mw2 and will not do so.
 
Glad that I did experienced the MW2 for myself. But won't buy it but not because of the reasons you gave.

I always lol when people go nuts about this and that and wont support this because of this and that...
 
It still a awesome game IMO, although I am worried the community wont last forever like the Cod4 community....Also there are a lot of issues with the game(glitches etc.) which may never be resolved...
 
Ja i dont really see the point of IW going down as anything substantial. Why do you think activision gave the go ahead to bring out Black Ops in November allready. The R700.00 in total ive spent on MW2 has been well worth it imo. I have more than 26days game time, a clan of more than 30members who are actually awesome guys and we will be playing MOH and Black Ops when they come out.

So for all the whining about this game you must be a blind fool not to give this game a try atleast.

Kyubi the community will obviously fade with time but well all move over to the next fps's to come out.
 
I had MW2, played the Single Player then sold it. BFBC2 > MW2 in my opinion. Vehicles give you a chance to kill someone :D

Oky so me not paying R700-00 and playing their game for than a 1000hours is not doing anything for them?

Why should we care about game developers? When Checkers employees strike for pay increases do you care about them?

because they make the games.... or don't you want them to make anymore games?
 
wouldn't buy it at current price...still over 500bucks for a game this old is rediculous....even though I'd love to own it, I'll wait till I pick up abargain somewhere.
