StarCraft II - origins of the species story

Thats one of the reasons Starcraft is one my favorite games. It just has an incredibly rich univerce and a wonderful story line.
 
Thanks for that summar - i actually never played the entire campaign - will try to get into SC2 campaign though. The competitive aspect was way too captivating.
 
I dont know if many people actually know this, but the Warcraft backstory and legend is probably 10 times greater (bigger) than this.
NOT that i'm dissing Starcraft for Warcraft or anything... I love both games!

Im just saying, if you want some interesting reading - research the entire Warcraft lore.
I only hope that the Starcraft 2 story can expand this so much - would be EPIC! :D

Nice read. The sections that came in the original StarCraft manual were also pretty informative. I dont know much about WarCraft 3 and afterwards, but WarCraft I & II certainly had a great deal of lore.
 
I also love the lore behind warcraft but to be fair it has had 4 games (one being an MMO) and numerours books to bolster that lore. That video gives me chills it so epic :)

Do you know how many books there are for StarCraft? There are as many if not more than the WarCraft novels. I think 13 in total.
The StarCraft lore runs very deep.
 
I was trying to think how many times I have played Starcraft cover-2-cover. I had to settle on many. It has been an epic game and Wings of Liberty certainly promises to live up to the legend Blizzard have created.
