Morning TK

Feck I am now so pissed off, the chicky who quit last month, had her husband send an email, saying she doesnt feel safe in the office, so she wont be coming in anymore. Now she was supposed to work till the end of the week. But since we got paid yesterday she decided not to come in.

And even tho the boss can raise his voice, he only does so when needed, he never ever has threatened anyone physically, so my guess is she cant handle confrontation. She also never said a word yesterday. . .
 
She had her HUSBAND send an email? Ag shame. How old is she exactly?

Wow it sounds like your office goes through a bit of a Days of our lives scenario from time to time :p but did she say why she doesnt feel safe??
 
Nope she didnt clarify it at all, so my best guess is she cant handle raised voices. Voicy she is 28, but not really strong in confrontational issues. But ironically enough the boss has never yelled at her in my presence. so I have no idea where she is getting this from. Now we need to urgently find someone to take over her role. Someone with about 5 years experience who doesnt expect to be paid an arm and a leg, the company is small, so we cant afford pricey ppl.

Plus with the freaky old man who we have here on a month to month basis is really creating a huge mess. . .

Seriously...speak to your dad/boss about the old ballie. It's not good for business.

We have an office wench at work and she Fscks up EVERYTHING she touches and the boss just doesn't see it because we don't point it out to him. (Ok, recently he's had her work with him on projects and picked up on her uselessness - which is a start) I'm getting close to snapping, but the problem is we share an office so I'll have to endure her hissy fits even more.

Anyway - hang in there!
 
Oh dont worry hes got the old ballie redoing the work for free, he gave him hell yesterday. Which i think is what made her leave. Just pisses me off, since we used to be good friends, i was a fooken bridesmaid at her wedding last year. . . .

And she does this without saying a fooken word. . .

Goodness crisis! And she/he/it still puts those marks on their CV? That's a cup of full cream fail right there.

What do you guys do if I may ask?
 
Hey Grim, We are a small Architectural firm. To give you an idea we did the Cape Royale hotel just across the road from Green Point Stadium as well as the buildings at Cape Point Nature reserve.
 
Hehehe yea, strangely enough I love it, even tho I have nothing to do with the designs, I do get to help choose paint colours and fixtures on some projects. So its interesting, plus I have learnt a lot about the building industry, would love to work for another firm like this. I love the pressure and so forth, except today. Since madam left us with a project half complete, which she promised to complete this week. She was supposed to work till friday. But just took her pay and left.

BTW where where u last nite??? Insanity was waiting for you!
