Hehehe yea, strangely enough I love it, even tho I have nothing to do with the designs, I do get to help choose paint colours and fixtures on some projects. So its interesting, plus I have learnt a lot about the building industry, would love to work for another firm like this. I love the pressure and so forth, except today. Since madam left us with a project half complete, which she promised to complete this week. She was supposed to work till friday. But just took her pay and left.

BTW where where u last nite??? Insanity was waiting for you!

Sounds like fun!

Sorry couldn't get a minute to get online, was a very busy evening, my wife is really sick at the moment so I was running around on daddy duty :)

Will try come on tonight. I did log in and create my char, so I got that far.

Spooner, I think you'll be spending more time on WoW than LOTROâ„¢, unless you're an avid Tolkien fan (or prefer the superior gfx :p)

That sucks balls!

I'm finishing off the last bits of a specification document + design drawings for a project due tomorrow. Been at work til 9pm most evenings last week etc, but seem to be on top of things eventually. It must suck having someone quit right in the middle of it. I'd go acid.

Then again, I prefer doing my projects alone, since the incompetence level in this office is staggering and I'm always left having to recheck and often redo other people's 'work'.

Anyway - soon it will be Friday.

Voicy, I am a huge Tolkien fan.

The jury is still out on wow, I am yet to be wowed by it :p But I gotta give it a fair chance. It feels dated, and ya I am certainly not hooked just yet :p

I am giving it a bit longer and if I really don't see myself playing it extensively I might just sell my Battle chest before I use my keys that is.

Yar we need this one project in at council on Friday :( And I just realised she buggered off but left without giving her office keys back . . .

Hey LOTR's gfx wasnt that awesome for me, I loved the lore and exploring, but in the end, I actually felt overwhelmed, to much to do and see and I didnt have a clue where to go next the options where to broad :P

Plus I didnt have the knack to make money in the game :P

I think the LOTRO High Definition version has better GFX than the original, that is what I am busy downloading.

Hehehe, I like the slight fantasy twist in wow, the slightly cartoony look, and my blood elf :P

But then I have to admit I loved aion for the wings, Allod for the colours. . . LOTR was the lore that got me, plus the 45 free trial with the game. I lasted max i think 2 weeks. Got a trial key for CoH, will see if i can get into that again, but I spent more time on char creation than playing the damn game.

That's the awesome thing about LOTRO, aside from repairs, you don't actually need money. The best way to make money is selling raw materials on the AH, but just vendoring stuff will earn you more than enough gold. Around lvl 35 you need 4g to buy a mount. That's really the only time you'd ever need cash.

The professions are also very in depth and actually fun, unlike the drag in WoW. You can also make crit items and its useful for your level too. When you start skirmishes, you upgrade all your gear every 3 levels or so anyway with the marks, so it's very chilled. Spooner, I'll make you some kief crit gear when you join.

Yeah the HD version pwns WoW 6-love. Even the new water effects in Cata doesn't come close. But yeah, seeing the lore elements and landscapes in the game is really something special. Especially when you meet Tom Bombadil and Radagast the Brown, who featured important roles in the books, but never got screen time in the movies.

Gliding in Aion was amazing. I really loved that game - had it not been for the terrible aether grinding and quests that required you to party up.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed WoW's cartoonish graphics, but it all just went overboard eventually. Weapons looked ridiculous and after TBC you couldn't distinguish between cloth/leather/mail or plate anymore. Everything looked the same.

Most of all I miss my ground mounts. The wintersaber and the Zulian tiger were my absolute favourites. Aimlessly running around and exploring or boosting lowbies was my thing.

.......so anyway, I'm started Mass Effect 2 last night? :p None of this WoW stuff is making any sense to me at all :o

Murph, I'm thinking of getting it. Special Ed. for Xbox going for R400 at IC. Is it worth getting?

I have ME1 at home on xbox too, but haven't played it yet. :/

Hehehehe, Dont ever feel pressure to play an mmo like some of us, be casual about it, play an hour here and there. :)

Voicy, I think I just felt very overwhelmed in LOTR. I still have it installed, will keep an eye on it when it reached the F2P stage.

I honestly miss Aion. I would still be playing it, if not for the grinding, it still hasnt balanced out from what I have heard from friends.

In wow, i used to be a raider, always prepared and rearing to go. Till I hit a burnout, 8 months later im back in the game, in a VERY casual guild - so far we have managed to do 2 bosses in Naxx :P for me wow is now a casual game, I log in for a few hours every night, help the new people out with their instances, Im addicted to achievements. But not the ones most ppl consider. My main goal at the moment after I complete the Loremaster title, is to farm an Oozling pet. Its the one pet that has evaded me for 5 years. I HAVE TO HAVE IT. Ive reached 102 pets, out of 119. SO my goal is for Cat to have all my pets :P Im enjoying the loremaster so much tho. Im rediscovering areas and quest lines that I have forgotten about. And its pulling me more and more into the game, as silly and old as the game is, its the one mmo that has me addicted. But and i say that with a smile, I still take time out to play other things. Ive gotten hold of The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, 2 of my all time favourite games, and played it thru, replayed all the quest games except police quest, ME2, Ive gotten hold of Singularity that I will start over the weekend when I have more time. And still every now and then i kick my brothers butt in Unreal.

I think I will give Guildwars 2 a go as well, I have a love for my mmo's, wow is my main one and always will be, Aion was actually close to replacing it. Maybe I can get into LOTR, I will give it a try again some time.

Same here, got ME1 from my boet and still haven't touched it, did a quick recap on IGN :) . I got the same SE at IC - totally worth it imo I think they actually forgot to change the price back.
Didn't play that long, but looking good. Real good.

Dear Sir Murph,

I regret to inforrm you that since you still have not played ME2 that you have owned for THREE months, the game will have to be posted to Wyvern with immediate effect.

Thank you kindly.
