Hey wyvern we went to see Shrek, was good for the last movie of the series. Now just watching Spy next door pretty dam funny :D

meh dont ya just love it when someone phones and they want plans urgently for a house we built in the 1980's . . . We dont even keep records of stuff that old dammit. So politely told them to apply for a set of drawings from city council. Now they are pissed at me.
 
Yeah that is what happens when someone body does not do there job and people are shunt around from one place to another till someone who knows there job gets the full brunt of the peoples rage.

oh well, by law we dont need to keep anything over 10years old so tuff for them. And ironically enough the woman who phoned works in the office above us.

But she came down to apologize, they had an old set of drawings that we did in 1997, small alterations that we did. But we didnt have anything else to do with the house and it sounds like unofficial alterations where done to the house.

But she left smiling when we gave her a name of one of the ppl at the planning offices at council and they will be back once they have the latest plans so that we can discuss the alterations that they want to make. So in the end we scored a small job :D Just cos I stayed nice and polite on the phone :P

I dont draw them, I just color them in and help out with the admin as well as the interior stuff and paint colors and so forth :P I cant draw to save my life. Ok that is a lie, I did Landscape Design for a year till I decided I dont like plants that much :P
 
Would imagine hey when you at a place where you have internet again? Or only next year when Telkom finally wakes up?

Only next year. My internet at home is broken. The only place where I have fully functioning internet is at home in Joburg. Here in Gtown I use computer labs :\
