StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Review (MyGaming)

The game is "stuck in the 90's with liberal amounts of polish applied" because that was sorta the whole point, a shinier version of the original game, not an entirely different game with an old name, Blizzard isn't EA.

I think they took too few risks. I wasn't expecting them to change the game dramatically but they stuck to the exact same formula. I was hoping they would add a few evolutionary improvements.

Raven Gold, I did play the original. The writing was also poor. It's hard to stay sympathetic with a love interest whose motives for betraying everyone and murdering billions of people are never explained. Yeah, Raynor was in luuuuuuurrrrrvvvvvvvvvv once but in real life people get over it, especially when the chick he was boning turned into a psychotic insect with absolutely no redeaming qualities and a fetish for psychotic genocide.

Wow, someone forgot to take their benzos this morning.

Erm, what is up with the personal insults? As someone who enjoyed to game I am pointing out a few reasons why I think it doesn't quite deserve all the obnoxious fanboy reviews it is receiving. If you disagree with any of my opinions feel free to discuss them.

Oh btw guys there is also a secret mission.

In the Media Blitz stage in the bottom right corner is a civilian Science Facility Destroy it and you will unlock it.

:p

The secret mission was great. It reminded me of the hero missions in Warcraft 3.
