Wow, I skipped MW2, so I have no idea how VAC ruined the game entirely.
As far as I understand, it was the lack of dedi's that ruined MW2.
Either way, based on the gameplay I have seen, and the way you have a choice (COD Points), and there are new weapons, and there is theatre, and there are new game modes (one in the chamber...) and you can customise your gun... And that there is a f*cking crossbow... Seriously guys...
Maybe its just the hardcore lot that are put off, I was never a serious COD player, I played it for fun. And I have no doubt that this will entertain for hours on end.
(all rebuttals welcome, except for "LOL U NOT PRO NUB")

Well I hope the community sticks it to Activision. The only reason they are doing this is money hungering and personally I hope it bites them in the ass. I will not subject myself to playing this online if it is anything like MW2 again. I would honestly rather pirate it, because why must I pay for a MP component I won't use?

Game looks like it could be fun.
Not quite sure about this. Isn't that like Bad Company 2? Also no public server files.

Except it is on Steam only. For starters, VAC is totally useless. And yes, BC2 has no public server files, but there is no match making kak. No waiting in a lobby listening to some 9 year old spouting about his first pubic hair. No waiting for 30 mins to get a game only to have the host's mom call him for supper and wham, game crashes.
Activision can come and lick my hairy ass!
