Planescape: Torment available on GoG - MyGaming examines the CRPG legend

I finished it back in the day. It was great. However I do not think I'll play it again. It took months to finish and had its boring bits. The end is quite brilliant though. Also the game was in 640x480 I think. Is it possible to play it in a higher resolution these days?

I would give my soul to see this game remade with all its depth and splendour intact. That is, if I believed in such things.

This game is beyond classic, it is legendary, it is canon.

One of the best rpg's of all time. Definitly worth getting if you like crpg's. If you dislike reading you should avoid though, lots of text in this game.

Must get this game:D

How do you pay for these games? Ly must buy it for me:mad:

Love crpg games.

Yup, you can play it in higher resolution through the use of fan community created patches. As I mentioned in the article, it remains to be seen if these will function with the GoG version. If not, I'm sure the fans will be on it ASAP and get the high resolution patches running.

I am still waiting for people to make decent crpgs. I found dragon age lacking at points. Just no variety with the monsters:(

For anyone wanting to play this, or any other infinity engine game again, try this mod for better resolutions. Recently started baldur's gate again, and it is unplayable(too much pixelation) on 640*480. This allows any of the games to be played on any resolution supported by your graphics card\monitor. The only requirement is the latest patch.

One of the best RPG's I have ever played (and I have played a LOT)!

Anyone who finds reading distasteful need not apply.
