PS3/XBOX 360/PC dillema

Don't! I repeat DON'T go for a re furbed unit. I sorta learned the hard way, bought a "Demo" unit from IC for a song, and lo and behold got hole and it was D.E.D! :p

Spent an extra few grand and got a brand new, slim 250 and it has been a pleasure.
 
Buy a Ps3, you will not regret it. I was a massive anti console person, but eventually got one for the blu-ray side of things and it really surprised me. I love it.

Also as a plus, the PS3 now plays 3D blu-rays as well!

I bought my PS3 last week Friday for Gran Turismo 5, and also bought a Logitech Driving Force GT + GT5 Prologue combo, which I must say I am very happy with! I am distracted from all PC games, and practicing for GT 5 lol :) Just wish PS3 games were cheaper sigh.... How is Metal Gear Solid 4 ?

What's wrong with the old ones?

I'm bit a noob when it comes to ps3 so is the 320gb advertised at BT the new gen? I came across a lot of different ps3's and if you're not clued up it's easy to make a huge mistake, that's why I asked for some advice... hehe

Sweet thanks for the heads up boet! I see BT games' got a special on this weekend for a 320gb ps3 for R3899, is it a good price?

320GB PS3? Wow haven't seen those, must be new. That is a good price.

Nothing wrong with the old PS3 if it is new, but I doubt you will find a new one, the ones floating around are all re-furbished models. Those are a no no. Don't waste your cash.

Go get one of those 320's you wont be sorry. Then head over to Zaps and grab some pre played PS3 exclusives and you will be smiling. I would recommend starting with Uncharted :)

One of my mates told me about uncharted he said it was an epic game enjoyed it alot.

I assume the 320gb's are new.

Yeah they new, just checked. I must say though, I don't get the point of a big HD on a ps3, you don't install games, so I guess you can copy media over onto the HDD, but I just stream mine, so in actual fact I use none of my 250GB drive.

Zaps is a shop in Randburg, they have a awesome range of pre played xbox and PS3 games.

I know I'm not going to use the hd at all that's why I thought of getting the 120GB but not after I found out it was refurbed units.

I'm going for the one at BT games when I first looked at it I didn't even realize that the new 320GB ps3 special they've got comes with 2 games as well. It comes with uncharted 2 and infamous. This is really a good deal, I'm collecting tonight... hehe can't wait!
