Ok i got a dilema.... Im going to europe in December and since im getting a 13th cheque in december i am sourly tempted to buy myself an Ipad 64gb, the wi-fi only one. Dont want/need 3g.

Am I being stupid?
 
What are you gonna use it for?

Its been tempting me as well fortunately i know there wont be enough for me to get it. And my pc needs a few new bits.

Read vast amounts online, specifically wikipedia entries and other news reports. Reading on the laptop is a pain in the ass. Also some of the research is in ebook format which is also a pain to read on screen. It would be a companion to my regular pc/laptop. :confused: I feel really confused about getting one.

It saves on bW & real estate. I can't stand massive sigs.

I can't take credit, I saw someone on _A_ forum (not sure if it was here or not) use it and it just made sense. So thanks to that guy!

Omega, you still have time, think about it, if possible play with one. Im considering rather maybe just a kindle, since I love my ebooks and have a decent collection. And currently using my phone as a book reader but i need a bigger screen.

I think spending that kinda money on something just to read books is a waste. Rather get an ipad and have some multifunctioning. Read a review just now and it says there is already an app for downloading amazon books, not to mention its great for pdf ebooks, which is brilliant.

at this current moment im seriously considering it as my one, big, gift to myself while over there.
