Played quite a lot last as well. It's pretty fun actually, the server browser actually works and you're up and running in no time. It's cool having an army of dudes running alongside you to the middle clash point of the map. I also like the ribbon/medal system and upgrading is pretty easy. Hit detection is fine, weapon balancing needs a bit of work, maps are cool so far.
As is typical, some games are infested with cheap players who think it's far more sporting to sit in one spot with their sniper rifles aimed at your base. First few games I died within seconds of spawning, this happened about five times in a row and I only actually came face to face with an enemy by about my tenth game. In a few games, I felt like I was the only player on the map because the enemy and my teammates all donned sniper class and sat on their asses, without chasing the objective.
So - spawning is terrible and so far it seems most people are stat chasing and not actually playing the game. But when the okes play properly, it works.
Single player is probably about 3 years behind it's competition. We've all seen it before, and we've seen it done much, much better. So far at least.
