If we don't change to a SA XBL account and stick with a US/UK account, will we still have to battle with region blocked content?

Hey guys and if any gals :)

Noobie Q here :p
I'm just wondering if I went and got myself the Xbox Live Gold Subscription and make an account, would I be able to use that account on my "Games for Microsoft"?
ie.
Gears of War - co-op/mp you need to be logged into a "Online" Live account to do this
Street Fighter 4 - achievements to get require you to do fights online with other players.

Please don't knock me for asking the Xbox men a PC Q here :p
From what I'm reading and Googling it all seems to be the same thing?

I dont think the pc one needs a live account, you do need to have a account and a pc that is registered to a supported region. I.E if you have a UK Games for Windows live account you pc will need to think it is in the uk for this to work. But since i haven't tried played pc games mp through Games for Windows Live this is all speculation.

I've tried to make UK based e-mail accounts with addresses I know (stayed in the UK for 2 years and had 4 different addresses there and still had my friends to use - so like 12 legit addresses with their approval to use them).
But and can't remember 100% when last I tried but it kept picking up my I.P. address been from SA causing a conflict.
Just thought with this new Live SA topic it might bring light to this - its not gonna destroy my world if Xbox Live doesnt count as Microsoft Live account, just something nice to have.

Feel like Street Fighter 4 is like 30% complete :/

Set your pc's region to UK and see if that works. Worked for me when I linked my xbox and windows live accounts, even got 2 Fallout 3 achievements that now show up on my Xbox live account.
