Each piece in the Golden Oriole series (katana sword and wakizashi sword) has a hand-forged 1065 high-carbon steel blade, differentially tempered using a traditional claying method. Edge hardness is 60HRC, back hardness 40HRC.

okay so here is another question: Why are you guys collecting swords / weapons?

I bought my very first sword because it's something I've always dreamed of having; a "real" sword. That's why I'm buying the Conan sword, because it's "the" sword in my mind's eye. After I get this sword, I highly doubt I'll ever want to buy another sword again.
 
if i tell i would have to come and remove neo from game.... the real life one...

When I was 15 I used to do real Samurai training from a real japanese samurai master. (Aikido, kendo, Jui-jitsu and nin-jitsu primarily) I got to practice with a real 800 year old katana. But as far as owning a sword, no such luck right now.

I just collect them as ornaments, but somehow my parents think it's cool to chase people away from our property with them :rolleyes:, so i'm forced to remind them that they are not toys!!!
 
I have fond memories of my mother chasing a prostitute down our street with a broomstick. It was awesome :D

I have the conan sword(sharpened,) Conan is my god:D
 
I have a 2 bladed orginal swiss army knife :(

But I really want a Katana :D

most swords are awesome tho
 
Well he did right wheel of time:p I want the herion marked sword replicate.
 
I paid $3000 us dollars for it. Well my friend actually got it for me when he was working in the states. Conan the Barbarian Atlantean Sword 20th Anniversary Edition.
