Black Ops weapon list - real images

I don't use any attachments on my weapons, only dual mags where available. The Commando is a very good rifle, but i'm an AK boy I love that thing. Ive got 2 levels to go on my current prestige before I unlock it so I will only have it tonight again.

Okay so i am a relative Noob with this game with regards to prestige etc(did not play as much MW2 as i'd like to have. So i did not rank very high up). I am Level 43 at the moment i think. I just wanted to know what happens when you prestige? Des it unlock more stuff, do you loose your weapons that you have collected so far, do you loose your current rank, can you play in other games like wager etc. I really do not know all of this cause i did not play alot of MW2.
 
You basically start the game from scratch again, with a new emblem to your rank and extra weapon slots. Later on you get stuff like gold camo for all your weapons, extra contracts for more money etc.
You lose all your money, guns etc when you prestige.

so its worth doing in other words, if you want stuff like gold camo etc. There are no new weapons?
 
Nope no new weapons. But the real benefits only come when you prestige to around level 11 and up. I'm going on Prestige 4 now.
 
once you reach level 50, and filled up the xp for it, you go to your playercard and hit the prestige button. it's something you have to do manually. Many ppl don't do it at all, they just stay at level 50 no prestige. That's basically what I did in Modern Warfare 2. BUt I decided I want to go full prestige in Black ops!

Okay now once you prestige. How do the levels work there? Do you have to hit level 50 again and then prestige level 2 or does it work like the normal levels where level 2 prestige is like achieving normal level or rank 2.
 
Prestige is a waste of time in my opinion. A really stupid way of trying to encourage people to play "for more".

At my current rate of playtime I wont prestige anytime soon. I only hit level 30 last night :p. I just want to get to 31 so I can get my face paint. Prestige will come eventually. :D
 
l noticed that you level up quite quick in this game. Played for a total of about an hour so far and I'm already level 12... So it's much quicker than MW2 if I'm not mistaken?

Take a few contracts and you would level up a bit faster.
 
It's not about leveling up, it's about there not really being any benefit or advantage to going prestige. Other than maybe proving how big or small, depending on how you look at it, your ego is.

No man, it's not about that. I will also do it. Just to see how far the rabbit hole goes. Some people are just like that, they want a reason to keep playing, even if it's just to unlock "levels". I don't see anything wrong with people wanting to prestige.
