2010 Unreal Engine 3 Trailer

all i can say is this.... who's ID again ? back in they day JC though zomg i are the zomg with engines and that tim sweeny will never release shit. fast word, u3 engine it's been around the block and still is very impressive engine. i think only competition out there to them is crytek.

The nreal tech is really impressive and im sure there's still a lot more juice left in the ue3 engine, considering that games like bioshock
and splinter cell conviction were running on the previous generations old ue 2.5 engine, im sure games in 3-4 years time will still be made on ue3 and will still look impressive then.

ID's engines are also impressive if you consider that every call of duty up to world at war ended up using a heavily modified quake 3 engine which still looks good up to this day and age !

i totally agree, but you have to admit that that ID pride has been cut down to size where it should be.
 
This is impressive. But IMO the unreal engine is actually better for sci-fi games.
