If you stagger him consistently whilst keeping your positive status buffs up then he's not -that- difficult.

Have to admit... i had to go look at a strategy guide. I completely forgot about shrouds, cos i have so few that I said i'll only use them for a very difficult battle.
This is my 1st FF game so it's all new to me.
Anyway, yes... like you said... once i used the shrouds to buff the team, it wasn't difficult.

Yes, its much better then the first one. The alchemy and crafting system is fantastic imho.
