Yes but u need to jailbreak them to be free. Android is free out of the box, non of this Apple closed ecosystem BS and... NO ITUNES!

Plus I dont think the android apps are as good as some of the iphone apps you get.

Only difference is Google doesn't check each app before its published as Apple does. What this means is that a user has to go by what other users thought of a specific app. But trust me there are some pretty awesome ones out there.

There is good reason for that, to filter out the crap that gets published on the app store. I am yet to find a "crap" app.
