i saw darksiders at one newworldshop (menlyn), xbox for just R200 in the bin. got myself dead or alive 4 at btgames for just R80.
 
I went past BT this morning seen as though I haven't had a response from my online order for Dantes Inferno, and as I suspected they wouldn't sell it to me for the special price, they wanted to charge me R399.

I will just wait for my order confirmation :p

well you can't get in-store games at online specials/pricing. you can however have it delivered to the store with cod and then pay the online pricing.

I also never received my confirmation email, thus I placed it again and whala 5 minutes later got the confirmation....

For all those in Cape Town an Incredible Connection Mega Store is opening in Canal Walk tomorrow and for the next four days they are having massive specials. They are selling the Xbox 360 Elite 120GB with Forza 3 and Halo ODST for R1499.95. I think this might be the time to grab me an Xbox :D.
 
Well I got there at 8am and there was this long queue already. Suffice it to say I did not get one of the hundred consoles they had. :(

:( damn, this is really a bargain!!! I would also have jumped on that... If I stayed in CT that is....
 
Nah ... the guys who rocked up at 5am probably joined the queue :D I've seen the results of one of those specials before - when I was still a student my dad whipped me out of bed at bloody 4:30am and we ended up joining a massive queue for some store opening up in Tygervalley. We ended up not getting anything.

Needless to say, I was less than impressed ...

lol. Know what you mean. Although BT games had a recent sale at the cresta opening, I got there at 6:30 and I was the 4th guy there. Got me a xbox slim + 5 games for R2599.

From what I heard someone went shopping at your place for that same console, except, he got his for free! :p :p And they were there after lunch! :D
