Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim

That is a load. It was weak compared to real rpg's. I finished games like Temple of elemental evil and pool of radiance ruins of mythdranor.

I am a hardcore rpg player BTW. I just found Oblivian lacked variety. There were not vary many weapons and the enchanted weapons sucked.

Temple of Elemental Evil was so awesome! Remember that as one of the few RPGs worth my time to finish!

I am with Tsar on this one. I consider oblivion a poor rpg. Its story and characters is about as dead as one can get.

I am with a lot of the hardcore rpg crowd who considers it more of an adventure game then a true rpg. Let the flaming begin.

I agree that Oblivion was definitely not a hardcore RPG. I always saw it as the casual mans RPG.

WOOT! finally, I really want to be a Nord.... but they don't make good spell swords :(

Lies! NFS Carbon was the last decent NFS (have not played HP yet)

Carbon was awesome in my opinion, but the last great NFS was Shift not carbon. Apologies for the derail btw. :)

don't you mean "not hardcore?" :P

what would you guts described Dungeon Siege 2 as then?
meh @ shift

Oblivion might not have been hardcore, but it sure was a hell of a lot of fun. Still is, as a matter of fact.
