Super Meat Boy review (MyGaming)

It's also goin on sale on XBLA from later on today for 800MSP. Definately worth getting. It launched on sale as well, so it's prob been more on sale than full price, hahaha.

I assume all the usual provisions have been made? Latest updates via Steam, Direct X up to date, etc?

in steam, let it verify the files. maybe you got one borked file along the line. it happens.

right click on the game -> properties -> local files -> verify
 
Had the same .exe problem with CoH a while back. When verifying didn't work, I reinstalled the game and it was fine. That was about 6GB.. I doubt SMB would take that long?

Yep everything is up-to-date.

Steam verified the files and found nothing wrong.

Though after downloading the latest patch today it no longer crashes on start up, but rather gives me a black screen that hangs.

I'll try reinstalling Super Meat Boy and see if that works.

i got crash as i alt-tabbed just now with meat boy. you don't perhaps have nv card ? i know for example some games you have to set single display.
