Planning to buy a PS3 tomorrow. Does it come with an HDMI cable?

So I'm planning to buy a PS3 tomorrow and was wondering if it comes with an HDMI cable or would I have to buy that as well? While on the topic, does the new Xbox 360 come supplied with an HDMI cable? In case I decided to go that route.

Nope, neither one of the consoles come with an HDMI cable, but you can pick that up for cheap.

Just get a cheap HDMI cable, i've got an Ellies one and it works great .

In some countries they ship with HDMI, in SA they don't. Although i did read a while back that Ster Kinekor was going to start shipping them with HDMI cables but i believe this hasn't materialised yet. So Like the others users say HDMI cables are cheap buy one its not much of a train smash.

I got one from games for R120. Its hdmi v1.3a or something. The 1.4 version is about R240 from sound check in centurion. It's been a while so the prices might have changed :/

Well nothing yet. I couldn't find the 160GB PS3 anywhere (which is the one I'm looking for). I will continue the hunt tomorrow methinks.

I did see an HDMI cable for R139 at Game so I would likely get that one.

Well found a PS3 today and got myself an HDMI cable for the low - low price of R119.

Works perfectly!

Just got Killzone 2 for now. Looking at Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 next.

Good choices. You should try and get Uncharted 1 before playing the second one. Also, you have to buy Demon's Souls. Even if you end up not playing it, everyone with a PS3 should own a copy.

I actually had Demon Souls in mind, it looks crazy good (nice and tough too ). A buddy of mine has both Uncharted games so I'll likely get them from him .
