RIFT : Planes of Telara

here's a quick shot of the bard/bladedancer/ranger i'm currently playing around with in the rift beta :)

so we fought an aelfwar vindicator, it's hp is around 209520. it's part of a massive invasion where as you have to defeat that thing including all the opened idols that "fuels" it. not to mention the hordes of invasion squads you have to face as well...

well, it's called a server raid event afaik can tell. one faction goes for a full out assault on the either guardian or defiant. then there is a lot of invasion forces from that one faction which you need to stop from setting up idol posts and the normal invasion things they do. when i say a lot it's easily up too 100 at a time.

then it seems you get a champ like the aelfwar vindicator who also runs around messing with the target faction. that specific event there was two of them. we failed at killing them and the eventually de-spawned.

later last night before server closed we had another massive invasion which actually went a lot better, we killed of the aelfwar vindicator and the crap loads of invasions :D.

i played a mage for that and i must say... going to roll a elementalist/storm caller/warlock, it's going to be a blast :D

the char i'm playing in those screenies are a "super shooter" lol, well it's a build around just killing from afair with a ranged weapon being ranger/marksman/blademaster. i had to throw in the blademaster so at least i can kill when up close and personal.

...the best is to go and register an account and then start key whoring for VIP keys as they always gets selected. normal keys gets chosen randomly to partake in the beta.

you could also scout out other site's that give normal/vip. i know tentonhammer is still handing out normal ( well i think so ).

apart from that, well it's luck what else :D
 
Thanks for the help :), so far i've been invited to all the events but was too low on cap to finish downloading the client. Hopefully i'll get invited to the fourth event so I can get a taste of the beta :D.

I think its because i've signed up to their newsletter.

I can't log into the client at the moment, keep getting an error(#2002)? Because I still have to download around 6GB before the next event starts.

it's down for now afaik. it will comeup asap when the invites from trion has been sent. well that's how it's been for the past 3 betas.
 
actual launch is in march. pre-ordering is now open on official site and some other partners. D2D is 20% discount on all mmo's if you use joker as the code, so you can save that way if you are interested.

furthermore, beta IV invites is being sent out from yesterday late.

so i started of with the stormcaller/elementalist, but lol ended up with warlock/nercomancer. now that is a decent combo imho :)
