Think about any Children's cartoon. Some of this stuff is mind numbingly stupid but most have the same thing in common, the good guyz are good and the bad guyz are bad. Think of power ranger, pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, He-Man all that stuff. Their purpose is to entertain its target audience, pre-teen kiddy winks, and to convey some sort of moral system.

I dont think it was conceived with the purpose of standing up against the reasonings of an adult mind.
