Darksiders Review (MyGaming)

Another error I picked up was: early on in the game you have to use your boomerang to target 2 blue lights on a structure which needs you to rise them from below doing something else {one of which is really awesome} and then let loose for them to be hit successively. However once one of them is up and you hit them repeatedly with the boomerang it turns and stays orange. You need to kill your self to turn it blue or return to a past save game.

More instructions would be useful for the puzzles since you not always sure what you can do and your guardian is no help.

What a brilliant game, I loved every second of it! The puzzles towards the end just got very frustrating at times.

I only picked up Darksiders yesterday....Ok I know it's been out for almost a year but I only got it now....and so far it's pretty much "Meh". Combat feels a bit "labored" and the moves are too repetitive. Combat definitely reminds me of Devil May Cry. On the Fun Scale I give it a 6 out of 10....enough to keep you playing, but nothing exceptional or worth recommending IMO.

Darksiders won the Omega's Fail game of 2009 award.

I actually enjoyed it, well most of it, some parts just got annoying.

Wish I had my saves so I could just finish it :( *SOB*

Darksiders is awesome. I bought a copy of the game again the other day and played quite far. I also bought a copy of the PC (Hellbook) version so I can make my own PS3 Hellbook Edition, but now I have a copy of the PC game that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with. Really looking forward to the sequel.
