F****S broke into my house!

Now you can say you are proudly South African!

It really sucks dude. Like has been said, luckily no one was home.

I can almost handle the break-ins that occur, because let's face it, that can happen no matter where you live on the planet. What fucks me off though is that these fuckers are note merely content with stealing your shit, it's that they murder and rape as well. That is what is really fucked up.

Any way, beef up your security as far as is possible, because these guys now know you will replace everything and be back again to steal that as well. Sommer arrange for ADT to make way more passes for the next month or two. And please do not take this lightly, as this happened to a good friend of mine. Broke in by him as well and cleared him out. Insurance replaced and practically the next day he was burgled again. These guys are going to be watching your place now. It sounds scary and maybe paranoid, but in my opinion entirely justified. Better safe than sorry.

PS as for you profiles etc, I think you can relax there, as I somehow doubt that these enterprising criminals have any interest those...

Hectic news Spooner :/ Yes be thankful that no one was around when they broke in. Trust me on this, when I say that having them rob you blind while you are not around to witness it. Is much better than watching them steal you blind while 1 of them f00ls stands with a 9mm pointing at your head. Shouting the most crude of crude's at your family.

A Quick tip: Please just remember that when insurance replaces your valueble's, that you DON'T put the empty boxes out with your trash. Rather put those empty boxes in your car and dump em some place else. That is how these thieving fucks know when to strike again. Well that and with the help of a "Domestic worker".

This blows man. In January this year I had 2 break-ins in 3 days.

Saturday evening: Noticed "someone" was in my place when I couldn't find my laptop. Then upon investigation noticed some other things missing also. Luckily, at that point, my xbox was still there.

Monday morning: Go to police to report the burglary. Was away for 45 mins. Got home. Basturds returned for the Xbox.

As I was living in a complex I informed the useless landlord that it is in all probability that it's residents in the complex (in Faerie Glen, PTA) since I am sure that the f^%$face watched to see when I leave to come pick up the 360.

Nothing got done so I moved.

Sucky. I had my week old xbox stolen as well (along with TV and some of the various remotes).

If you still have the xbox serial number, phone xbox support and report it stolen, they can blacklist it IIRC.

Happened to me in January of 2009, it is horrible, but at least you and your family weren't hurt. The only crap thing is all your DLC and save games. But definitely beef up your security and make sure it's tight, I had to do it myself as the landlord was a tosser. Still never recovered any of that money back from him, we moved about 3 months ago.

So finally got my consoles back and almost finished recovering my gamer tags. Should be back to some gaming in no time :)

The only advice I can give you (been through this twice) Don't let any people that come to work in your place, be it your security (ADT was responsible for our burglary's, very sure about it) a painter whatever see your stuff.

After you have replaced everything don't throw the boxes away. A lot of the burglars mask themselves as these homeless people that go through the trash to look for food, but they are actually looking if you got shiny new things.

I'm glad you and your family are safe. It is a frightening experience, thankfully you came out better than most.

Thanks Spookie. I totally agree with you, I HATE having people in my place for anything, last burglary I had 2 days prior I had 5 guys in my place redoing my ceilings after a burst geyser. 2 days later they came back and stole everything.

I am beefing up my security, its the best I can do for now.

The best anyone can do is make sure it's easier to break into your neighbours place than yours. If has a fence, you get an electric fence. If has a 6ft wall, you get a 9ft wall with spikes. If he has armed response, you get a 24hr armed platoon at your gate.

You get the idea.

PS, don't underestimate the value of having 5 German Shepard's...

I am actually thinking of getting one :)

Damn they expensive though.

They are my children and make excellent dogs if trained well. They don't have to be uber dog, just merely trained to be obedient and well behaved and you will have the best dog ever.

As for a deterrent, they make for a pretty effective one.

A squad of Dobermans are equally effective.

Den you have 5 German Shepards? Do you live on a farm?
