It sometimes helps to do something different, your mind works in strange ways. It usually helps solving frustrating problems for me that way.
Yeah dude, true. I also find talking about stuff with other people will sometimes just randomly give you an epiphany![]()

there are 13,000 lines of dialogue in Valve’s impending physics-abuse sequel Portal 2.
Mega, that looks pretty cool- But I think you have to make your own models and shit. It's like those movie maker games back in the day, remember that stuff? Haha
But yeah, this looks like an all in one thing, but what I actually want to do is use the GTA 4 engine because it's so freakin' amazing and there is SO much that you can do. Plus, the scenery, physics, models and everything else is already there for you to use.
Well u can download premade made models. Its worth a look since its a more structured system. Its got free & premium content.
But yeah I get why u want to use GTAs engine. That frictionless vid is epic.
I hate the word "gamer."
I really got to thinking about that term, as opposed to parallel ones I could come up with like, say, movie buff. The difference seems to be a subtle one but I think it's this: we look at a gamer as someone who is at least in some sense defined by their relation to the medium, where a movie or art buff is someone who merely thoroughly enjoys their hobby.
Maybe I'm alone in feeling that there's a distinction, but it's something I've noticed over time and wanted to try and put my finger on. It was recently said to me (in a valid point, mind you), "is that the perception of gamers that you want out there?" I was struck by this sentence. Why are gamers the only ones who are defined in lieu of the medium they enjoy? Movie- or art-ophiles need not worry about the presence of those who casually enjoy what they love affecting their definition of themselves, so why gamers?
Damn... I feel like I should do something.. I want to start making a machinima but I'm just here listening to trance because I can't think of any cool ideas...so unproductive..Screw you, brain!
Maybe I should just make another rampage video hahahaha![]()

@Omega, what do you think of this? http://kotaku.com/5733811/is-gamer-a-dirty-word
I think that people will always find a reason to look down on someone.
Hell no, not knocking it. I love trance dude. ALMOST as much as D&B.
Interesting.
I have to agree with one of his points. He says that there is a certain elitism amongst gamers and I feel that's very true.
Very. Especially Hardcore PC gamers. Born with a stick up their ass or something.
